DNVR as a whole has fallen off HARD since AJ and (especially) Meghan left. The only thing keeping me watching is the fact that they consistently criticize the goaltending, which has been some necessary catharsis this season.

The goaltending has been horrific this season, no mistake. My big difference is, I have absolutely no interest in wasting 30minutes to an hour listening to someone else tell me what I already saw. Georgiev can't stop a beachball and Justus wasn't our huckleberry after all.

Is Altitude's streaming service up and cooking yet? If so, has anyone opted for it? Care to pony up a review? Thx.

We should start really cataloging the idiocy that comes from the Superteam for posterity. Last night during the pre-game, Riker pointed out how Mikko's work ethic is "through the roof" at the moment (while highlighting his spectacular results that led to being named a star of the month) only to have him half ass a backcheck on the first goal a mere 10 minutes later.

They were also singing Georgiev’s praises right before the game started

I don’t know what we did to deserve Moser, Keefe, and Rycroft

I ponied up for Altitude+ last month once it hit Roku. . It's pretty bare bones for now, but the feed is good and it's a decent value for $20 a month. I reached out to Altitude and they told me that they would be enhancing the features over the course of the next few weeks/months, including rewind, replay and other stuff. They just wanted to get the basic service up and running quickly.

Whatever.

Look, as a Comcast subscriber, I was shelling out $100 a month for Fubo - just to watch Avs/Nuggets. Compared to that, Altitude+ is a bargain.

Thank you for your response.

I'm doing DirecTV Stream. It works pretty well, except for last night, when they ran the game on local channel 20.

I haven't really been following DNVR or any media stuff very closely (barely have time to do anything besides watch games on occasion sports wise), so I wasn't aware AJ left. I know Meghan is with Guerilla Sports where they seem to be doing a much better job utilizing her. AJ seems to still be posting about DNVR stuff on socials, did he just leave the podcast?

They replaced Meghan and AJ with some guy named "Gizmo" who prefaces every statement with something along the lines of "I've forgotten more about the NHL than most people will ever know" . Which is bad enough. Eric Lacroix makes things exponentially worse by talking in circles for 15 minutes, repeating himself endlessly and punctuating every pause with "know what I mean". While Rudo and everybody else pounds shots.

Not great. I've migrated to the "Tell It Avs It Is" guys. They're good.

At least Eric is not afraid to call out Fourgiev's shit.

He saw people being physically assaulted and intervened. Nothing wrong with that, especially if that was the second time those drunk idiots had been acting like that the same day.

Wonder why she had to wait this long. Probably something to do with being able to pay her less.

She migth have been in a sort of trial period too. Her previous duties with the team were a lot different than hosting the show. She probably had to work on her craft a bit.

It actually took longer for the team to let Katie and the Laurens host, so maybe it was a different agreement letting Rachel host early on.
