Story I hear is he and longtime DL coach Larry Johnson do not get along. In addition tOSU are losing 8 starters and the last time they had a bunch of newcomers, the defense was crap and he was ripped the entire year. Plus....money.

There’s A LOT to this story from what I’m hearing. The rift between him and LJ is real and stems back to the Oregon game when Day ripped him a new one. LJ told him they need to go back to a 4-3 and Knowles wouldn’t listen and Day sided with LJ. Apparent issues with other defensive assistants as well. There’s way more I can get into as well.

If Penn St fans are expecting Knowles to go out recruiting he doesn’t at all.

I’m just giving the heads up that he does zero recruiting, ever. His 4-2-5 takes forever to implement as well fyi.

The one thing that drove me nuts with him is that the in the biggest games they never forced a single punt in the 4th qtr.
