Yes, amazing how it can be frustrating watching young Defensemen develop in the best league in the world.

We see it year in, year out all over the NHL.

Anaheim is just starting to realize that it may be better to actually get Fowler long-term -- after he's been on the block for 3 years.

The only thing this guy needs is confidence. You get confidence with reps.

Either put the time in, or watch him go and do it somewhere else.

Colin Miller will have a long NHL career as a Top 4 blueliner with top pair potential.

If I am McPhee, he's the one I want.

Unfortunately, you have to expose McQuaid or Killer, but that's how it works.

I hope you're right, he has the skating ability to do so but there's much more to the game than that.

Colon Miller will not be exposed. Yes unfortunately Mcquaid or K Miller will be hanging out there to be grabbed.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chiller is exactly the type of player the GMs want to keep their lists secret for. A guy valued a lot more by the fans than the gm. That being said he definitely has the highest ceiling of guys that could be exposed, just fairly far from it with others going to be nipping at his heels very quick.

I've liked seeing his progression throughout the year but I wouldn't hesitate to include him in a deal for a top 6 winger (preferably a LW to play with Krejci). Maybe it's just me but I don't see a strong hockey IQ. Also with our depth at RHD and McAvoy on the way we have an opportunity to deal from a position of strength. The position is also one of the most coveted around the league.

I can't see McAvoy having any trouble playing his 16 minutes per game next year. Carlo, McAvoy and K.Miller/Mcquaid is fine depth as right handed defenseman go.

Not trying to be a hater by any means just not sold on him as many others are here.

I've liked his play lately. He is a fantastic skater and has a great shot as well. You don't just give away defencemen with those kind of tools. There is no doubt in my mind that he is going to be a quality top 4 guy.

Agree, with less than 100 games under his belt and he is only 24 there is plenty of upside.
