Recalled/Assigned: Cole Schneider recalled from Hartford.

I appreciate it being posted as a standalone thread, since I don't often look in the roster building thread. IMO it's two different things, anyway.

That said, while I prefer kids play, I'm glad to see Schneider get a chance as he has been a good soldier for Hartford for a couple years now. Plays hard and had been productive.

Brooks says it's a precaution in case a forward can't go. Good thing to have on a road trip. Zucc/Names being the obvious ones to keep a track of.

Agree on both accounts (even though I do visit GDT before the game). Good performances from AHL vets should be rewarded and in certain limited cases these call up opportunities could result into something more.
