Ideal 4th line to me is Kastelic with Minten and Lauko. Beecher failed in most unfortunate fashion. Koepke is good effort but simply average and the type to not overpay. Unless he wants a similar league minimum contract...

I think Minten/Kastelic is a great start to a 4th line but I personally wouldn’t pencil Lauko in.

For me, Koepke is a guy that’s easy to like but I see no reason to throw any sort of coin or term at him. Like, how big can the concern really be for not filling his role with someone else?

I would take him over Beecher that's for sure.

I think by reading some of the posts, that I like Koepke a little more than most. I think he was third on the team in hits (and hit CLEAN, only 17 PIM), popped 10 goals (so he’s not a total zero offensively) and was one of the very few forwards on the team with a positive +/-.

To me, he’s better than Lauko. But I’d take em both back as they both play that fourth line role like I like.

To me, Koepke, Beecher and Lauko are all pretty much useless plugs that can be replaced by bigger, more aggressive players. All three are the types where you aren’t even sure if they played at the end of the night.
Actually, you can tell that Lauko played by the bruises on his face after getting his nightly beat down in.

Koepke is a player the team needs on the roster imo
