Cole Eiserman, 20th Overall 2024 NHL Draft

For whatever reason they don't have a post for Eiserman's goal last night but here is the assist

The announcers said "Cole-train". Is that a nickname? FWIW, John Coltrane lived on LI (composed A Love Supreme at his home in Dix Hills).

Not sure, would make more sense calling it a Cole train on the actual goal ebcause Cole Hudson(Caps 2nd rounder in 2025) passed the puck way up the ice to Eiserman

Caps already making selections in the next draft?

You're probably right, but I may go with Cole-train anyway just because it's so cool, especially with the Coltrane-LI connection.

Never saw Wally do that at BC. Or even Throttle's savior who played at BU

It's amazing because Eiserman's college start at BU is the complete opposite of how Wahlstrom started at BC.

Man, if only he hadn't fallen into our laps... We might have just selected Dobson and then likely Farabee.

Eiserman leads his team in goal scoring, and is tied for 2nd in the nation with 9 goals. The leader has 10 goals. He’s on pace for a 30 goal freshman season. He’s a thoroughbred, don’t try to slow him down, just let him do his thing.

I guess that means Finley is third with 8. Do we have... prospects?!

I just hope his nickname going forward (for what is hopefully a long Islander career) is...

Cowboy!
