I have no problem with Colby for saying this, he's an athlete with pride and if he didn't feel this way, he would have no heart.

I would bet dollars to donuts he knew it would cause a kerfuffle and he'll probably check in and read the **** in this thread, Just for laughs.

I can understand Colby being upset at being bought out and etc, plus the injuries he suffered sure didn't help. However when he was healthy he still couldn't perfom up to the play he was signed to do, so he should stop complaining about what happened during his time in Toronto.

i have no problem with it either. i'm glad he feels this way, and even more glad he said it publically. lets drop all the cliches and politcal correctness, and lets get some hate going.

I hope he gets labeled in his first shift. I was against his signing, I hated him as a Leaf. He was so useless, injured so much, and I couldn't fathom the support he had in his first season with Toronto. Here's hoping Dion, Komisaurus, Brown or even Komarov can get him lined up and put his useless ass on the ice.

I don't really see a problem with what he said. Especially considering this is Colby Armstrong we're talking about here and we don't know the exact context he said it in. He's the type of person where half the stuff he says is sarcastic and he tries too hard to be funny.

despite being a hab I have no ill feelings about him, I think up until the injuries took their toll he was a pretty usefull utility player for us (and quite frankly underrated). Overall considering the constant injuries and whatnot though he became a useless player for us no need to be butthurt buy the buyout

did you guys truly think he would say anything else????

he plays for the rival team of the leafs, why would he wish the team luck? of course he wants redemption for being bought out and he is trying to get in the good books with their fans.

its embarrassing that tsn would even ask the question and expect a different answer?? The media is pathetic, what would you expect.

Typical turncoat Leafs Nation turn on their players as soon as they leave the team and play for someone else.

I like all the ex-Leafs & always support them on every team they are on after us until they retire. I'll do the same for Colby. With me I can't go from not like them just like that after they are on our team for a year or so.

I actually enjoyed Colby (for the few amount of games he played). I thought that when he was healthy (I know that was rare) he was decently effective and seemed like a great guy to have in the locker room.

However, hearing his comments after the fact, I have never heard such a bitter guy. I don't know how he could possibly complain about the situation he got himself in being plagued with injury after signing a decently hefty contract. We pretty much paid him to hang out with the team.

I don't wish him well whatsoever.

He made his money playing with star players, but when he's not on their lines, his true value shows.... he's a glorified Lapierre. Runs around hitting players, but is a pansy when it comes to manning up to his actions.

This was the end for him, in Blue and White.

Embarrassing. Very happy to see him gone.

I'm really not sure where the armstrong hate came from. He was a good player who gave it his all for us. It was a rough shake, but does every signing that doesn't work out have to be hated? Leafs fans can be whiners sometimes.
