Chuckie is a winner and a very good goaltender. Plus and this is important, the team LOVES playing for him. Bortuzzo comments said it all.

We will rally around Chuckie Sideburns and we will play good hockey.

Team looked slow and distracted the whole game. Credit for executing on the PP, but they let Kadri get in their heads and it got them off their game. Honestly did not expect them to lose their cool like that, frustrating to watch.

It's just too bad that a person like Kadri is being turned into some sort of hero/innocent victim after all the dirty crap he has pulled over the years.

Oh I agree we laid down, but this whole storyline is dumb. Tired of my twitter being filled with Berube this and Kadri this.

blues almost recovered from their poor second, but fell back apart in the third

orielly-perron-buch was again the only effective line. berube has to figure something out to get the other lines going in game 5. they've successfully shutdown parts of the avs, but the avs' depth is finally coming through unfortunately. the avs can incorporate their dump in strategies again but i don't know if that's enough of a worry to roll lindgren and put him in that talbot situation of saving a series. i can't tell if the blues if are just effective enough to stay sort of in the game or if the avs lack the killer instinct still. hope it's the latter and will expect some changes in game 5 on berube's part.

Hard to do much when your D is banged up, your G is suspect, and your scoring depth dries up.

They shut down Makar and McKinnon, but didn't put enough Blues goals in the net

That team isnt winning the cup. Their goaltending is just as leaky as ours is with Husso but we arn't getting enough zone time on him. Team like Tampa will.

But hopefully coach starts Chuckie so we can get to a G6.

I get feeling Kadri purposefully ran Binnginton (I don't think he did), but how bout instead of trying to hurt someone, you play them f***ing hard and run them out of your own building? Stop trying to goon up this series because you're mad; you didn't cry after the Shark's handpass. Husso has not helped alleviate the pressure this team is feeling, but at least if you check Kadri hard and put pressure on the Avs, you can overcome adversity and show them they can't affect your psyche, or you can lose with some dignity. Really pitiful showing.

He’s totally neutered Mackinnon and the conventional wisdom leading into the series was the Blues scoring depth in their top 9 edged the Avs. With O’Reilly winning that H2H matchup significantly and the Blues tag tag D playing well enough one would think the Blues would be in prime position and it just hasn’t played out that way. Beaten the Binnington angle to death but this will be 1A reason we’ll be going home.
