I called a big splash and if this is true it's certainly a wayyyy bigger splash than Miller would've been. Love Rantanen's game and him and Aho anchoring our top line for the next like 7 years is incredibly f***ing exciting. Please no Nikishin. Ok with Necas going the other way assuming he wouldn't sign long term here for something reasonable

I worry a bit about the contract we'll have to give him but I assume if we're trading away Necas we've already probably got a deal in place. Hate to see Necas go but if he did have to go, so glad to see him in the western conference on a team I have no problems with. He may light it up with MacKinnon

Tulsky managed to turn Necas into Rantanen. What an absolute maniac.

I have mixed feelings about losing Necas.

Kid is Uber talented, is in some ways the reason this team beat Nashville in that playoff series (without that tying goal they probably lose game 6), and when he's on, man he's fun.

On the other hand, if he's willing to sign here long term then, that's his right and it's best to get something now.
