Welp, that was about as awful as I expected. Was hoping we wouldn't play down to their level but naturally the #30 possession team whacks the #1 possession team. Crap effort. Better that we drop it to them than the Pacific I guess.

Get it out of the system, go home and rest, and better clean up since we're home for like this entire freaking month.

Feel bad for Enroth. That's two uninspired efforts in a row when he's in goal. Don't understand this ****ing Kings team, you should be getting behind the backup goalie and player harder, not softer.

No wonder Sutter doesn't sit Quick that much.
 
Please don't start a losing streak now, especially with the Leafs up as the next opponent.

Good thing Sutter went with Enroth too, this was a repeat of the Toronto game. The Kings simply don't show up for some of these games. I guess since Quick isn't starting the rest of the team considered this a rest day.
 
On the road for 2 weeks, come home for a game, and then back on the road for a game. I don't think the Kings were happy with Uncle Gary tonight. Didn't bother to show up out of spite I'm guessing.

They team played horribly in front of him in the Toronto, Sabres and Wings games.

Yup, that was me. He was definitely Muffffffin tonight.

Nostalgia is a wonderful thing.
 
That was a team that collectively decided to take the night off. They had one shot through each of the first halves of the first and second periods against the worst possession team in the NHL. I don't mind losing, but that effort was pathetic. Oh well, on to the next game
 
I think they will be fine Thursday. Extra day to rest. Toronto plays Anaheim the day before and the boys will be looking for revenge.
 
Can see why we need defensive help more than a #3 Center tonight. Look how bad our D looks when Muzzin has an off night. Now imagine if one of them were injured...

Need to hit reset after tonight though. If they look like garbage against Toronto again I'm gonna be a bit worried as even Sutter has pointed out they haven't been as sharp as they could be lately (and that showed up bigtime tonight)
 
Muzzin just had a brutal game, worst of the season. Also feel bad for Enroth, I wanna see the guy get a win at some point.
 
GG! - those Avalanche jerseys are ugly, and with the black helmets and pants???? The black really drags it all down.

Who let RBK ruin their already not-so-great design combo?

Muzzin was mostly unlucky. I would argue Martinez played worse. Lucic was worse still. We do need a fresh shot of Carter though.

Their 3rds are way better, they should just stick to those.
