Pretty well a full week of rest and treatment for both Nik and Samberg and they should be good to go, I have to say I'm still pessimistic about Vilardi being ready for the first game.

Sounds good to me. But not going to lie, Mo's 'day to day' on Laine for half a season still gives me PTSD.

Just like trades getting info about player injuries from a tight lipped Jets organization is like pulling teeth.

But really nice to see the Jets win something - a lot of hard work behind that.
Don't evaluate players in this game - none of them - it was a day off whether it looked like it or not.
Sammy got a stinger - and those hurt - good to hear he is likely for game one.
And Mr Arniel - find a way to sit your stars on Wednesday - zero risk when they don't play.

I think I watched the replay 20 times by now. Looks like the shot hit just above the knee hitting soft tissue. I imagine there is one hell of a bruise.

Dylan Samberg shouldn't have played in this game...Nothing game. President's Trophy by default.

That hurts the playoff picture if it's a serious injury.

I couldn't watch the game after that. And watching the Oilers score with a man who can't even get up is even more frustrating.

Grrr.

What pisses me off even more was such a bullshit call on the penalty. No penalty, no Samberg out there killing it.

Speaking as a beer leaguer, even the weakest shot hurts like hell if you catch it right. I can't imagine getting hit by an NHL shot.

Well this game was a snoozer…even craft beer didn’t help much.

Glad to see the Jets rest some key pieces and relieved to hear that Samberg’s stinger might not be too serious.

Jets that stood out to me tonight were Barron, Perfetti, Tanev, Miller and Stan. Perfetti is just looking so shifty and confident out there!

Tons of Oiler fans in the building tonight. They did a great job of pushing up the 50:50 pot (which I didn’t win) so kudos to them for that.

Shitty game from Jets. Glad I didn't pay money to see it - but I will chalk it up to the let down after winning all the prizes available so far.

I took one of those last year playing goalie for rec hockey with the Old Coopers. Took me a week to get back on the skates, but I'm old.

Glad he is okay. The Jets need Dylan Samberg to be as dominant as he was in the regular season in the playoffs.

Looks liek we won’t know until the last game of the year on April 16th. After the Blues and Wilds final games.

So Jets have 3-4 days to prepare with holy week in between. Most likely an off day somewhere there for the players. At least they won’t have to fly out anymore.
