But we’re past the future considerations for San Jose, and we don’t have the future considerations for Coghlan yet.

I hope we didn't get fooled there. Noesen's real value tripled while he was with us. Rod has taught them things.

So he was the backup plan in case we weren’t able to convince others to sign with us in free agency. Once those deals for walker, ghost, stillman, etc. materialized, then we didn’t need the backup plan anymore…. See what next season could have been like if we didn’t sign folks we were targeting? He could have had a role as #7 here as he is at least familiar with our system…..

Best of luck. It didn’t work out here but he did appear to play well in a more traditional system this past season in the minors during his loan. I bet he is happy and I hope he works for it and gets a chance…
