That salary is probably the biggest thing holding him back from being claimed.

I hope he goes down and plays with energy in Rochester. They're going to need it with Porter coming up... for now.

No more re-entry waivers in the new CBA, that's why Kevin Porter can just come up and doesn't have to be waived first. If he goes back down, he has to be waived.
