I finally got caught up with the second set of episodes this season

This is getting more and more over the top and ridiculous. There have been a lot of irrational brawls in this series but
this is the first time they killed someone
.

I don't watch this show for logic, I just like the twists and turns like old school wrestling. But when they introduced the Sekai Taikai it was supposed to be some secret underground tournament that no one has heard of, but apparently it's broadcast live across the globe so Daniel's wife could watch it. And the director guy doesn't say cut the feed while there's a massive 20 minute brawl, he only does it after
Kwon stabs himself to death on live TV
.

The final set of episodes should be fun now that we know who the big bads are behind all of this shit.

Wait till they reveal the ultimate big bad behind the whole series...
...somehow Mr. Miyagi returned.

He managed to stay alive in secret all these years by planting seeds of karate around the world and then absorbing the energy created from all-out teen brawls. It makes sense if you think about it. He's looked the same from Karate Kid 1 to 4, and he has some mystical power to heal Daniel's leg during the first All-Valley tournament. He's a karate wizard.

Mr Miyagi is a demon sorcerer….

I lost it when Chozen defiantly took off on an e-scooter after the yelling/foreplay with ponytail lady. LOL for a good five minutes.

The final episodes are out.
Yes, it was cheesy, and yes it was slightly annoying how all the conflicts were neatly resolved in the most predictable way possible, but damn I'm going to miss this show.
I loved how everything went full circle and even with all the changes and new characters at the end the core of the show was still Johnny's and Cobra Kai's redemption arc.

Just finished binging it myself. A few things I would have done differently, but overall a good conclusion.

This show would have been fine finishing at the end of season 5. This last season wasn't as strong and became a bit of a parody of earlier seasons. The writing wasn't quite as good or as witty. As another poster mentioned, things were very predictable at the end of season 6. Still, I did binge watch it all. And I definitely got attached to the characters and was overall happy for how things turned out for them. Still remarkable how excellent this show turned out to be. Those early seasons were especially good.

This show has always been able to blend cheese and nostalgia perfectly - and that’s what we got.

Looking fwd to the Legacy movie and who will show up.

A lot of fan service at the end, but the world is full of enough misery, so it was nice to see everyone have their happy ending.

Well except for Kreese and Silver. Getting blown up on a yacht wasn’t on my bingo card and seemed way too Hollywood for the end of their stories.

How did Kreese even get on the yacht, like cmon lmao.

John’s speech to Kreese was great acting by Zabka, and he was always the character I cared the most about in the legacy of the Karate Kid universe.

Daniel moved to town, stole his girl, then beat him at the AVC, and John was man enough to give him his dues.

I loved Cobra Kai as a kid, so it was great to see Johnny get his happy ending and Cobra Kai become a world renown dojo known for greatness.

Just about finished the penultimate episode and as much as I enjoyed the show I'm wishing it would just end already. They just announced that the tournament ended in a tie and I just immediately rolled my eyes. Wrap this shit up, already.
