I mentioned the concern about loss of revenue in attendance drop in other posts. We’ll see how concerned he is about short-term revenue vs long-term revenue.

OK, that's cool. I don't pretend to have all of the details or that I could do an accurate cost comparison. I have a feeling though that an interim GMs salary for 1/2 - 3/4 of a season could be smaller than lost revenue over multiple years, but it's just a feeling versus hard data.

You have to wonder if DJ will get to the stage where his lame duck status creates such toxicity that he opts to pull a Winnipeg and resign from the organization before they let him go.

Put me on record in saying that this is now a plausible scenario.
