Houle is losing it, he’s still steaming. He was trying to throw a stick on the ice further to the too many men call.

And of course, Monsters score on this PP as well and now lead it 6-3 with less than 9 minutes to go. Cleveland also leads in shots, 34-30, FWIW.

I've never seen this before. 5 for 6. It's frickin embarrassing. They should be booed out of the building.
5 for 6 and I'm not sure if they've been on the PP for a combined 5 minutes tonight. Monsters are scoring early and often on their PPs.

Scratching Dello for Beaudin is what lost this game!
If only it was that simple. There's a helluva lot more concerning issues leading to this loss than the Dello/Beaudin lineup decision.

Wow, Monsters strike again. 7-3.

I don’t think I’ve seen Beaudin get a shift after his third penalty of the game.

Gervais saying that the PPs are the difference in the game but could it also be that the Monsters are both the better coached team while counting on better talent?

Wondering if some heads will roll. This is untenable.

Probably explains how the usually rabid @Adam Michaels has been bailing on this team in the past two weeks. :sarcasm:

Not bailing. Crazy busy at work. And this weekend, came to Baie-Comeau to see the in-laws.

Right now, I look like a guy who only wants to follow when they win. 🤣

But I do hope heads will roll.

I checked out that stat brought up by the above Twitter user re Beaudin and it turns out that he did rack up 68 minutes of penalties in 66 games played last season.

That Twitter critic is not done:

At the 4-2 mark, he called the game a shit show, saying this was JF Houle at his best.

And then he added a clincher: “He’s clearly the son of his father, incompetent by nature.”

Houle looks way over his head right now. And the Rocket is facing the Monsters again in less than 24 hours (3 PM start tomorrow).

I mean Beaudin took 3 penalties and they scored 3 goals with him in the box while Dello who's their best defensive defenceman and arguably their best penalty killer was scratched to make room for Beaudin.

If they want to win games Dello should be in the lineup all the time, the guy is a wall defensively.

He was a +28 last season.

So this has to stop right? Can’t develop players in this crap
I don't know what people are expecting! This is a team full of career AHLers, some C level prospects and 1 B level prospect in Barron.

Let's not forget just a year ago, our prospect pool was considered top 10 worse in the league.

Bergevin's "legacy" will be felt for at least one more year in Laval.

Also I don't believe the AHL is a developmental league. Guys like Suzuki, Guhle (so far), Caufield never went to the AHL. I don't consider the 8 games Cole played over 2 season there to have been crucial to his development lol.

It’s good for some prospect. But i always thought, the more time you pass in the AHL the farther you get from the NHL. It may be different for defenceman and goalies though.

How dare you say such things!?

If not for Lefebvre, Andrighetto, Hudon, Thomas, Leblanc, Carr, Scherbak, and McCarron would be killing the league right now!

This one had me splitting a gut:

This Twitter user can’t wait for Houle to lose his job. Says he’s not a coach but a “gratte bedaine” (potbelly scratcher).

There you go. Orders from upstairs. And he throws HuGo under the bus. He gone, main. He gone.

They wanted to see Beaudin. They got to see Beaudin lol
