Laval Rocket: Cleveland at Rocket 7PM

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Brutal play by Beck. I get the disappointment about being overwhelmed in the NHL and being sent down... But come on man, compete.

Not sure what's going on with Beck, but he's been absolute crap since being returned to AHL. He needs to be a lot better.

Del Bel Beluz looks like he's going to be a player for Columbus. I remember what a horrible skater he was in junior. He has improved that part of his game a lot.

Kids need to see tons of Mailloux, Roy and Barre-Boulet videos. You need to know what not to do, to understand what to do. They need to look at and treat that kind of hockey like medieval peasants treated the black death.

Fantastic game by Reinbacher, wont take long to justify his draft ranking, he is simply amazing in so many areas of the game, Habs top 4 next fall no doubt.

Mailloux and Mesar were painful to watch, Beck underwhelming.

Xhekaj I love him, will be a solid NHLer, 2 brothers who will terrify the entire NHL night after night, cant wait to see that!

Vincent really trusts Xhekaj, using him on the PK and in OT. For a kid who only played 2 seasons in the OHL he has really blossomed. No one thought he would be this good this quick. I hope they are patient with him and let him play next year in Laval. No rush.
Yep no rush with him, another year in the AHL wont hurt, he has been handled perfectly so far IMO.

Not the first time we see a player struggle after getting demoted. I think he showed some signs of coming around but the coach isn't happy with him. Earlier this season Beck was an automatic go to 4v4 yesterday Vincent was using Condotta before Beck in that situation. He got something like 30 seconds out of that 4 minute high stick on Dauphin.

I think Flojack needs one more year, but Reinbuster will make it out training camp.
If Florian improves his skating over the summer he definitely has a chance to steal a role in the bottom six.
His production while doing a lot of the grunt work for Laval is awesome and being able to PK is huge.
