when watson looks as bad as he looked yeah theyre bad takes even considering context. it’d be one thing if he were at least a capable starter. everyone was dead wrong, including those NFL teams and front offices. they forgot that the browns are still the browns
I guess I just have a different approach to dunking on people than you. Saying Watson was good three years ago was something every person paid to work in or cover football would have said.

I always thought he was overrated. But i was more dunking on people for their shitty Lamar takes than their Watson takes

Yea Watson was pretty good his last playing year in Houston.

4800 yards completing 70 percent of his passes, 33TD to 7 INTs, plus 440 yards rushing. He's also played well in the playoffs. Averaging 290 yards/game plus 56 yards rushing in 3 games. 6 total TDs to 1 turnover.

The team around him sucked at the end, but he played really well.

there really wasn't any reason to think watson's time in cleveland would end up this bad aside from just assuming it would because browns gonna browns

pretty much everyone figured the browns had finally landed their franchise QB and that watson gave them a better shot at the playoffs than baker did

the lamar posts are fun to read though. oof
Yup. If you show me someone that thought it would turn out *this* badly I'll show you a liar.
