There’s clearly a lot more to winning than just points. Hagel is a winner.

What's the most insane part is he has the most goals, tied for the most points of this trio, and is a two-way monster. He was legitimately the 2nd best player on the Lightning slightly behind Kucherov based off his two-way game. Tampa is lucky to have locked him up when they did because if they did his extension today, his next contract would begin with a 11 in terms of AAV.

35 goal, 90 point elite two-way wingers don't grow on trees. You take the names away, he damn near had a prime Marian Hossa level season.

Edit: 3rd in 5-on-5 points too so his production for the most part comes at even strength

It's like suggesting that Hyman is a play-driving winger. Even apart from McDavey and Drats, i'm sure he'd score a ton because he's very much like Hagel (and i'd add Guentzel) as sort of "elite complementary players". They make everyone around them better. They bring everyone up a level. But they aren't the true catalyst. The linchpin of any given line. They're just fantastic at doing all the right things that help make other better players better and more effective.

Again, it's not a sleight on Hagel. He's a player every team would kill to have. But he's just not in the same class as the guys like Bratt and Keller who are the offensive engine of their respective teams.
Doubling down on your terrible take I see. Its actually nothing like Hyman as a play driving winger. Hyman rides superstar players and is a great complimentary player. Hagel drives his line on his own he doesnt play with Point, Guentzel or Kucherov.

You are simply flat our wrong on this one. Hagel is the engine on his line he doesnt even play on the first power play. Maybe do a little more research and familiarize yourself with the player.

Oh nice. The "you disagree so you didn't watch player" argument. Cool.

I did watch him...more than i even wanted to tbh because Tampa games are just always on the TV. I just don't see nearly the same play carrying ability as either of the other two guys who absolutely drive everything every time they're on the ice.
No you have proven you dont watch him by your breakdown.

So either you are lying or you dont know what you are watching.

At 5v5 the last two years:

Hagel with Kucherov: 2.27 P/60
Hagel without Kucherov: 2.67 P/60

At 5v5 from 22-23 to 23-24 (his two big years):

Hyman with McDavid: 2.69 P/60
Hyman without McDavid: 1.91 P/60

Comparing Hagel to Hyman is disingenuous. Hagel has shown he can score at an elite rate without elite teammates. Now it’s possible he might not excel as the focal point of an offense, but I don’t think it’s fair to call him a complementary winger like Hyman, and the numbers bear that out.

lol wtf?

To think Bratt is better than Keller, much less with a gap is crazy
Not saying I agree with the gap but, Bratt produces points at a similar rate as Keller and is a force on the PK something Keller doesn't do at all.

Keller is the better goal scorer though.
