Looks like I missed absolutely nothing. Probably would have won in regulation if Nieto got 20 mins. Oh well. Ya live and learn. Did Tomasino get hurt? Only six mins of ice time.
I skip to the goals up until the third period and watch the final 10 minutes. Even that much is painful.

Am I the only one who doesn't hate Acciari? He's a fourth liner who hits. If your team has scoring problems a crasher and banger on the 4th line isn't the guy I'm blaming.

Especially since they have like 5 bottom six players equally inept at scoring who aren't physical.

I don't hate him either, or Nieto. Honestly I'm indifferent on the two. But so many lose their minds over these guys it's hilarious. Some here actually believe this team has a chance for something. It's just so lame.

Acciari is valuable. Every playoff contender would want to have him on their team. He is just way more valuable on the wing. His physicality is completely neutered when he plays center, as was the case last season (when Sullivan inexplicably used Acciari at center and Carter on right wing). If we start to slip in the standings next month, Acciari's name will probably start to pop up.

On the other hand, Nieto brings nothing to the table. He is more quick than fast, and his puck skills are as bad as we have had on this team. His PKing is redundant on this team.

I hope the Tomasino injury is not a season ender, but it sure looked bad.

We wasted an opportunity to beat a Florida team on a back-to-back situation with Knight in goal, but at least we showed resilience in earning a valuable point.

The defense pairings need to be reshuffled though. Hopefully, that will occur when Letang returns. It makes no sense keeping Grz and Karlsson together while forcing both Joseph and Pickering to the right side.

Getting any points against the Panthers is a win tbh.

If the Pens can claw out another point or two against Carolina that would be nice. I expected two regulation losses against these two teams.

I can assure you I did.

Of course I thought we might beat the Wings on tuesday. IF CAR wins in REG, PIT would be 0-2-1 on this trip.

Malkin being on pace for 65 pts is honestly incredible given the dog shit he’s playing with and the fact we are rolling a top PP of Gryz, Sid, Rust, Raks, Bunting for some reason.
Because it's working?

Like the power play is top five in the NHL this year. Who the hell cares who is on it if it works?

Because it has to fit an agenda! Remember, some here believe PP goals count less.

It has to fit their narrative to count! Seriously.
