I dont like the guy as much as the next person, but he was kicked out of the game, do you want him to sit there in his full gear (or come out in his street clothes) to shake hands? Lets be real.

I've seen a few instances where there have been guys not in full uniform in the handshake line. Both from injury and from getting fighting majors. It's not that unusual.

People are reacting to it because Kane has a long history of questionable behaviors. You'd think the guy would mature by now.
