Classic games trading

There should be a happy medium: e.g. post clips for all to see, but keep the full games offline, reserved for the truly serious fans/collectors/historians to fully appreciate. That makes much more sense to me.
Absolutely understand this position and not trying to move you off of it, but I do think this is self-filtering regardless of availability. I think the type of fan who's willing to invest the time to watch all of the goals from a particular game from 1994, and one who wants to watch that game for 3 hours and see every icing call, are two different animals. I just don't see the type of person who'd watch such a thing and not appreciate what's in front of them.

That, too, would be "technically illegal", wouldn't it?

A Fair Use exemption is a lot more justifiable with clips especially if the editing itself shows a degree of creativity/originality, rather than broadcasting or distributing the bulk of the copyright material

Sorry, I meant the part about sharing them all privately among selected individuals, not the clips on YouTube part.
