Just a family thing, actually.

Years ago, my two older sisters were drooling over a naked man on a computer monitor and unaware that Mom had silently entered the bedroom and was standing behind them until they heard her quietly say: "Wow, doesn't that just melt the elastic in your undies." I vaguely recall they also got the lecture about computer porn, but the phrase entered the family's lexicon and all of us have used it since at various times.

When I saw post #161, it was the first thing that came to mind.

(And for the fellow scholars out there: I discovered later that the phrase originated in the novel "Curiosity thrilled the cat" by Sofie Kelly, but I still associate it with my Mom.)
