So appearently Chuck Fletcher has admitted that he uses an app in order to determine trades. I wonder if he does the same when it comes to re-signing and signing players?

This would explain a lot!

I mean, it doesn't doesn't sound as stupid if it's like an app that determines the WAR and GAR of players to try and determine a compatible trade...

But that also kinda sounds like someone trying to use Tinder to find true love.

If Yzerman said he's using it sure, but the GM of the Flyers?

The reality is an app probably could be better than some GMs, as at the end of the day being a GM is a massive amount of guesswork. Literally one player being a bust or a late round a hit can be the difference between a genius gm and a total bum.

But yeah Flyers do worst than random luck.

I mean this isn't farfetched at all. I'm guessing most, if not all, teams have internal apps/webapps that present a centralized way to see many metrics of how a club evaluates players, draft picks, contracts, cap moves, etc. I swear this board get dumber every year.

Yeah, I wonder how many people would have gone crazy if Fletcher had said he only uses pen and paper when doing trades, none of that fancy computer stuff.

What he doesn't know is that it's an app operated by every other GM.

With most GMs you'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Chuck Fletcher however uses Tarot cards and buys volcano insurance.

I saw it on one of the pages I follow on Instagram. But I forgot to check which one it was since I has just woken up.

So I had to Google it, and then I just picked a site that had the news, lol.
The Tweet appears to be made by some random Flyers fan with ~360 followers.

The “article” said this:
The clip has ‘mysteriously' been wiped off social media, but many who were there to witness the video have told its tale.

Is there a better source with the audio clip?

This. All the HFboard hockey professors flex by posting some cool market value cards but then get pissed when a GM uses analytics to help with decision making.

This is an embarrassing post.

LMAO I have no details but something something app. But source is trust me bro because it's been mysteriously 'wiped'.

But on the confirmation bias boards where people don't respect Fletcher, this thread will have 300 posts by tomorrow.

I'm not defending Fletcher, btw, but this is a wack post.
