I really hope this man gets re-signed, but it's looking bleak with players like Andrew Copp and Jack Roslovic knocking on the door.

Post some videos/pictures of your favourite Chris Thorburn moments or interviews, or write about them as well.

Here's another good one highlighting Chris Thorburn's all around good play throughout the years - his Enn's Brothers Highlight Reel!

Always loved thorbs as an individual and he always gave it is all, just the way she goes and all part of the business.

Could see him wearing an A for the moose to wind down his career

Why would you want him re-signed?

I don't want to take a chance that Maurice would actually dress him in 64 games again. We're a better team without him.

Super nice guy. A woman I was friends with ran into him at a restaurant and he was willing to have his picture taken and sign a autograph for her son.

I think some of the kids are ready to replace him and at this stage of his career are more than likely a upgrade.

I hope he will play for the Moose or find a job with the Jets off ice as he is a great ambassador for this franchise.

I would sign him to a inexpensive contract.

Who is going in when we need that physicality we have no one else.

I expect they will sign or replace him with a similar player from outside.

No to resigning as roster player.
Yes for him to be part of organization in some capacity.
Very likeable guy, would not like to see him getting hurt unnecessarily while playing 8 minutes a game.

Please retire. That's about the best that could happen to him, provided that he's set financially.

Great guy. I've seen him on several occasions give his stick to a kid in the stands. One time he even came back with a second stick for the kid beside the kid he gave the first stick to.

Like I said at the end of the season, it takes guts to wake up in the morning and go to work knowing you may get punched in the face.

I appreciate the fact that he was a relatively useful player for the Jets early in their V2.0 existance. I appreciate that he's a fine person. I also appreciate that his contract with the Jets is finished. I wouldn't be averse to seeing him take another position with TSNE in a non-playing role.

I was mad and vocal on here 3 years ago when Thorburn was signed to a 3 year contract. Having said that I appreciate his compete level that he has allways givin in a Jets uniform since 2011.

I also appreciate him sporting that lumberjack beard.

I never had a problem with Thorburn as a fourth liner.

All the hate for Chris emerged due to the Jets lack of forward depth in their initial few years & thus being cast in roles beyond his ability when injuries occurred.

I truly hope he's resigned to a significant AHL contract on the level of Jaffray's.

He knows the Jets systems & could easily play a leading roll in the development of this teams prospects.

Stuart should be cast in the same role beginning next year & he & Thor can take a leading roles not just teaching the Jets systems, but also the off-ice training required for NHL success. Both have been leaders in the gym throughout their tenures here.

The problem is whether either would be comfortable with these demotions. The ego of any professional athlete is an easy lure to another team if presented with the smallest chance they could continue playing at the NHL level.

That said I really can't imagine any team being interested in either.

Chris had a very difficult job so I'm glad he was well compensated. Can't be easy fighting when the other face puncher has a massive beak to tee off on.

Thorbs and Stu both seem like fantastic men.

That being said in very done with then as NHL players.

Wouldn't mind seeing both on high end ahl only deals for a year or two and then in player development/whatever roles with the front office.

Both seem like fantastic human beings. Just unfortunate that the NHL ability just ain't there anymore.

On the bright side both have mentioned in interviews that they know the end is nigh for them

Nice guy, hope he doesn't come back though

This is the best goal of his I can remember:
