It's possible he still has one more strong move, but I'm not confident.
3.2M cap space. I would imagine 2C is the target. Mitts going the other way would free up 5.75M more, so the 2C could cost up to 8.95M. Whether there's a player available on the market is another story.

Guess who has a cap hit just slightly lower than 8.95.

How much then? I just checked Puckpedia and they had updated the trade already so I thought it was correct.

No, that 2C, there isn't an upgrade available unless Crosby waives or Calgary decides they want to swap Kadri for Mitts.

From centers I don't actually know. Was just looking through trade boards to see if there was conveniently someone in the range we had left.
I'll give you a hint, his cap hit matches his number.

CMac's biggest problem at this point is the move he hasn't made. Jared Bednar.

Unless he has a 2C in his back pocket and they are just waiting until the last possible moment to make the deal, I do not see this deadline going well. We've already blown a load on a questionable upgrade at best on the bottom d-pair.

Dude's going to have to be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat in less than a week. Not liking his chances. If he fired Bednar earlier in the season I could be convinced to allow CMac to continue this summer... but at this point, I think I'd like to see a full change. We've already jettisoned a star plyaer (I'm not saying it wasn't the right move)... maybe it's time for management to feel the heat of losing.

Not the Crosby I was looking for.

Gotta give Cmac a little credit for the set of balls. Super active this year, upgraded both goalie positions massively, and got rid of a horrific Georgiev + signed Blackwood long term.

Rantanen for Necas + Drury
Lindgren
Nelson

Agree or not with these trades, at least the guy is going out and trying. I think this is a cup winning roster if they stay healthy.

You can say what you will, not every move he has made over the years have panned out, but you can't say that CMac doesn't try to give this team a chance. The days of sleepy Joe sleeping in past the deadline are over.

He has had big obstacles to work around with Landy and Val, those 2 situations are tough to work around, but he has been aggressive in doing the most he can to put the best team on the ice.

Can't fault the effort, and Brock was a major get.

Cmac has check mated all the naysayers this transfer window - OOOF. Guy is a 5th lvl Warlock, 15th lvl Sorcerer with Draconic Bloodline, casting a quickened fireball on everyone, and using sorcery points to give us all disadvantage on the saving throw !

That's a lot better than my warlock.

My DM told me my playstyle is choatic neutral. But before I could get excited that it was a viable playstyle, she informed me that all she meant was that I had good intentions but very questionable methods. Sounds about right.

Chaotic Neutral hey - the perfect "I do what the hell I like and will lay the smackdown on anyone who disagrees" play style hahaha.

I'm currently playing a tabaxi (that's actually only the size of a house cat), Circle of the Moon Druid. Just hit 9th lvl. He's lawful good, and goes out of his way to save anything and everything "life". He makes an awkward figure standing there as the hero with his cape flying in the breeze when actually looking like a small normal cat haha. I just got a set of Red Dragon Scale Armor last session (which is OP for a druid). AC 20 with a shield (because I also have a locket that gives +1 to AC for saving Baldurs Gate from a frost giant horde attack)
