OP failed to mention he's the leading contender for the Cy Young award with 9G and 0 assists so far this year. Gotta be some value there.

It's a high cap hit for a guy who went from 77 to 64 to 75 points. Which version re you getting? Likely the 54 point one given his age. He also has a 15 team NTC so that limits options. & hes on pace for 41 points this year.

Bullshit. He's averaged 40+ goals his last 3 seasons. 6.5M isn't high for that kind of production. Especially considering he's someone that plays in all situations (ES, PP, PK).

I know a deal between the Devils and Rangers would never happen especially for a bigger name player (last trade was Grabner I believe)... but man he would be perfect. We've needed another top six forward.

So what are you saying about the value of a 41 goal scorer?

With him potentially on the trade block, make your offers. Rangers would prefer a youngish LD, but will entertain anything.

He has another 2 years after this season at 6.5M.
he should not be moved he is NOT the prob
productive guy decent $ good value

prob is Zib, Lindy Trouba in that order

imo his name leaked to goose discussions
he is not untouchable and moving him sends a statement
but Rs are better off, as bern has said many, any times
expanding their window by repurposing their vets

lack of assists is due to total zib failure, not CK

bread does not want to leave Gotham
NJ is close enuf
Rs will not approach what he will get whether he deserves that or not

to avoid bad look bread will take a deal somewhere next yr
BUT
might take one now close by to Jersey or LI Jersey is pref

bread retained 5.16 to an even 6 per x this season and next

Nemic + Silavey as a core
plus reasonable cap dumps

small adds for balance

Hahaha

Devils giving up two of best defensive prospects in hockey for a 33 year old who’d be our 4th or 5th best forward. Tempting!!

Edit- saw this is for Panarin at 50% and still no. I might do one but not both

How about Josh Anderson? Two big guys that might benefit from a fresh start. Two more years left each. Kreider is more talented, but also 3 years older.

Rangers would save 1M cap hit per year.

Habs looking for offense while Anderson is not penciled in their top 6.

Just a thought.
