Kind of nice in a romantic way to see the Polar Circle (well, almost) is so strongly represented. Any chance Luleå and Kärpät meet halfway between their towns on the Bothnian Bay and play for the Midnight Cup right there on the frozen surface of the sea? Please make it happen.

Rumour has it in the time it took you to post this another KHL team had their paycheques bounce...

But ya, the fact the tournament really hasn't gained any momentum with fans has to be a concern. The organizers and clubs certainly have their work cut out for them over the next couple of years.

This is the worst game ive seen in my life or close to one. I just imagine dude in germany sitting at home or pub and tuning into watch this game.... empty seats.. **** atmosphere... 1 hour? ice fixing in sweden... Champions hockey league semi final...........

Yeah, the Central European clubs and Nottingham had decent attendance but now that they're out this is just embarrassing.

This whole tournament has been a big joke from the start. The ice issue and game lasting about 6 hours is just perfect..
