That's nice, should be good for both sides. I'd really like a replacement for the Canada-Russia challenge in the build up to the WJC though, perhaps both federations can work toward that as well somehow.

I doubt it as there are American players on CHL teams.

I feel like most years this will be CHL favored no? Just NTDP, with no help of any extra USHL standouts, and then all of CHL, not just limited to Canadians?

Probably true. The NTDP's one significant advantage would be that they play together all season, so are a more cohesive team. They may add a few of the top players from the U17 team, as well.

Hopefully we'll get a game here at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth -- if not the first year, at least in a subsequent year if the series continues.
