Most papers noted that 4 Finns from Luleå were among the winners.

Anyone knowing if there was much interest in the final outside of Sweden (apart of Finland maybe)? Here in Germany the final was barely noticed by anyone.

Sports sites in Russia haven't even bothered to give score of the game. Like zero interest. Search in Russian language about final game gives several Ukrainian sites and only one short news article in Russian news agency site. Which was literally only 3 sentences long - there was such match, score and that KHL didn't participate.

Well I guess your point is if people would have showed up if the 2nd team was not from Sweden. If it was a big team from Finland, I think people would have cared. If KHL was involved and it was either CSKA, SKA or Jokerit, people would most likely have cared too, otherwise not as much, but it would still have more interest than a random season SHL game.
