GDT: CHL — August 22

Nice attendance in England but dead quiet in there. You can actually hear Finnish coaches yelling.

Game is 2-0 Lukko, English lads had few shots on pp but nothing special.

What the hell is happening and in what game? :D

In my opinion Petr Leska from PSG Zlin has played some games in Spain (league) in past. But then he decided, he is still good enough for Czech hockey league in past. And HE STILL IS... :)

Nope

Nearly all imported players from North America, they've even brought in some guys who won't ice for them in the domestic season because there's an import limit

Sure, there are a limits for hockey players in GB. Same limits as the import players are having. they are just limited, mostly. But it is nice to have a free ice...

Actaully thx for info. I could not recognize any english guy among so many english sounding names....

Both goals were scored by British D-man Stephen Lee (#45)

The other 2 that play regular shifts are Robert Farmer (#19) & Rob Lachowicz (Top scorer jersey, CHL stream is calling him David Clarke even though Clarke isn't dressed.)

The guy you'll barely see is 4th liner Jonathan Boxill (#89) and then you have the grocery sticks in 7th D Sam Oakford, and 13th forward Oliver Betteridge.

Balastik interview: It was a good preperation game for us:))) I was always suspicious about their attitude. They looked too much chill. However if they continue like this it will twist against them soon and we could easily watch some embarassing scores in the future...

Jarda knows how to screw up them.

He said it in czech, and I guess by mistake. Well it's a small club with limited budget. From this perspective I understand that it does not have to be their priority. No offence to Berlin performance, they outplayed Zlin in third an in overtime. No one wanted to screw up anybody.....

So, What would be their goal in CHL this season ? Money from qualifying to the next round or preparing themselves for the future...?

Anyway I'm just missing HC Kometa Brno and why not HC Skoda Plzen...just for this season...

Just watched the highlights from the HV71 - Kloten game. What a beauty by Praplan on the 2'nd Kloten goal. Jeebus.
