Through 14, we are 5-8-1. We can't score but we don't concede many, either. If you like low event hockey, it appears this is the team for you.
Could be that this young team is just learning how to play the way the Canes do. Remember, the first 1/2 of 2018-19, the NHL guys played the same sort of hockey until it started clicking. And this is a bunch of young guys vs. the Canes had some vet to lead the way back in 2018.

It may not all click this year, but will be interesting to see the progression throughout the season, as well as season to season.

oct 2018 through Dec 2018, the Canes had the 8th best GA/GP in the NHL and the 3rd WORST GF/GP in the NHL.

From Jan 1 2019-the end of the season: Canes had the 8th best GA/GP in the NHL and 6th best GF/GP in the NHL.

the wolves appear to be playing better together lately. still not really good, but better than the first 10 or so games that sounded like complete clusters.

makes sense, they have a pretty good number of guys either playing their first time against men or learning to play on north american ice. growing pains were expected, but we'll see if they gel into something decent. the talent is there, i think.

Wolves with a 6-3 loss today against Rockford. Nadeau with a 1+1 (tied for the team lead in goals and a solid 9 points in 17 games). Suzuki 2 assists. Gleb checks in with a goal. Legault had an assist and is a pretty impressive +6 on the year.

Legault is a guy that I'm hoping becomes NHL/Canes capable.

Only 21 & 6'4" 215lbs.+, great size plus has an edge that would be a great bookend with Nikishin

Is there anywhere to see time on ice for AHL games? I’m curious to see how many minutes they’re giving Morrow
