Another loss last night, 5-3.

Don't like seeing our promising prospects limited production to-date &:
Heimosalmi at -7, Morrow -6, FUS -5, Gunler -4
&
Gleb Trikozov where are you???

I think at this point we're well past looking at their stats as a whole. Just hope some of these guys start producing as expected as the year goes on. There are already some recent signs of life from Nadeau, Suzuki, and Robidas. Just need a few more to figure things out at that level and things will feel back on track. I watched a bit of the third last night and they looked more cohesive than any of the other times I've watched.

Totally this....it seems to me like they've been using more appropriate lines lately. I believe Nadeau was saddled early in the season with SBA instead of Suzuki as an example

I wonder if the Canes ultimately look to sign him if he plays well and Andersen will be out as long as was hinted at. Kinda have him be the Spencer Martin of last year for this season until either Freddie comes back or they can make a move at the deadline. I'd likely trust him over Perets.

Dustin Tokarski is probably miles better than Perets at this point. It's really, really hard to be a goalie in the professional leagues. With a couple of years in the ECHL or in a lower league in Europe, perhaps Perets could develop into a better player. Likewise, it's wild that Khazheyev is playing in the AHL and he doesn't turn 20 for a couple more days. Him posting an 0.863 after 5 games is not a concern at all for me long term. He took an absolutely massive step up in shooter quality to go from the MHL, not even the VHL, to the AHL.
