To Chicago
2022 1st
Robertson/Amirov
Ritchie

To
Toronto
Hagel

Chicago gets a 1st and a very good prospect and take on Ritchie for next season.
Toronto gets a young productive winger with potential to be more who can be slotted with Tavares and Nylander. Deal seems fair for both teams.

Toronto's 1st will be late. Right now it's #27? Nah. Not great odds that the pick will ever become a decent NHLer.
I'd rather keep Hagel.

Bowman was taken to the woodshed every trade deadline, Dubas has his head on the chopping block if they dont make the 2nd rd.

Hagel alone is a First, prospect and asset. Taking on a bad contract ups that price?

Hagel for 2022 1st, Knies, Der-Arguchintsev, Ritchie and a 4th in 2023

Toronto passes on both easily.

A late 20-something pick as the centerpiece for Hagel but which is unlikely to turn into a player as good as Hagel isn’t interesting. A very good prospect has to come with it.

you mean as unlikely as a 6th round pick was at #159?

if you're getting that pick AND amirov...

Hagel has 27 pts in 43 games this season and 24 pts in 52 games last season. People are overrating what he is worth. That is decent production but over an extremely small sample size. If you get a 2nd and ok prospect you are getting about what is fair.

Signed til 2024 at LESS THAN $2 million…that’s worth another asset in itself
