Chicago screwed up royally!

This is fake news. Scouts did not have any such "concerns." You're just repeating innuendo.

Ahhhh columnists. I didn't realize a columnist is a synonym for scout. Go gtfo

Rinzel is a very exciting prospect. I think he'll be better than Levshunov.
Yes. I specifically stated that. Columnists/reporters interview and do things like r-e-s-e-a-r-c-h. If they can p-r-o-v-e it, it becomes f-a-c-t. If they cannot, it becomes r-u-m-o-u-r (or r-u-m-o-r depending on where you live). What, do you need pictures to spell things out for you?

Another exemplary graduate of the American education system. :help::banghead:

Gosh, the condescencion is dripping from you. This after you said with complete confidence that scouts were doubting Russian birth certificates based on nothing whatsoever. Then threw in more innuendo about "some people" and a passive voice masterpiece about "similar concerns." Who's the "exemplary graduate" here exactly? You're an exemplary BSer, that is for certain.

Its a terrible thread.

Habs fans have to hear about passing on Rein for Michkov even though the young players in SJ, CBJ and Anaheim arent exactly lighting the world on fire (they're young, thats what young players do) and now Cooley for Slaf.

Ultimately no team can pick the best player with every single pick and the best teams aren't built with the sexiest picks at each position.

but can you imagine
Yes, but nobody’s creating threads to rail on Montreal for picking Reinbacher. It comes up in the plethora of threads created by Montreal fans who have to brag about how great their young guys are and how all of the teams who passed on them made huge mistakes.

We heard about it a lot, the Michkov thread was filled with posts about Montreal. Not Anaheim, San Jose, Columbus or Arizona. Montreal was the fools who passed on him. Having Demidov and to a lesser extent Laine fall in our laps made things a lot more tolerable around here.

I apologize for the obnoxious members of our fanbase, the Michkov taunting really got under my skin and the only thing I could really say was that I was sure management had good reason to do what they did.

Chicago could of drafted Ivan Demidov second, Cole Eiserman 18th and Cole Hutson 27th in the 2024 NHL Draft! They could of had a future top line with Bedard, Demidov and Eiserman along with an elite offensive defenseman in Hutson instead of Levshunov. This bad draft will really slow down their rebuild. What do you think?

Chicago could of also drafted Gabriel Perreault 19th and Andrew Cristall 35th in the 2023 NHL Draft! As a Montreal Canadiens fan, I'm upset that they traded their 31st and 37th picks for Alex Newhook when they could of drafted Andrew Cristall with one of these picks instead. Also, Montreal taking David Reinbacher over Matvei Michkov was a really bad move but I'm extremely happy that Ivan Demidov fell to my favorite team.
It's "could have" not "could of," what on earth do you even think that "could of" is supposed to mean?
