Too many immature children on this forum. Learn to accept “no” for an answer instead of lashing out when you don’t get what you want. Do your parents know you’re on here and talking to adults?

Well who’s in your top 6 next year? Hedman, serg, mcdonaugh and cernak? Are you expecting 2 league minimum defenders to step into and be above average? That’s some cheeseburgher dreams there.
Tampa is fine.

Hedman, McDonagh, Sergachev and Cernak are top 4. They'll take Foote or Masin for the #6 and find a vet for 2-3M to take the #5.

Tampa rly doesn't need anything, except maybe some grit in the top 9.
They are the most complete team in the league.

That’ll be a “hell no” from the Lightning. We’d be giving up the three best pieces in that deal and receiving the two worst. At least try to put some effort into your proposals - this is embarrassing.

As someone born and raised in Chicago and still very much a Hawks fan while also being a Lightning STH (my 1st seats were 4 rows off the glass in the "THUNDERDOME") You can, not like the offer but don't pretend that Keith is not the best piece in this deal along with the benefit of losing Coburn. From the Bolts side I don't do it because even with the retained portion Keith would in the future force moving a younger piece. From the Hawks side i don't do it because retaining and taking Coburn (Bolts worst D-man) then getting just a very late 1st and a prospect in the Hawks area of organizational strength isn't worth it. ... Overall a terrible proposal.

And for Jay, You clearly know little/nothing about Tampa's players/prospects. I would put next years Tampa top 4 D-men above what the Hawks have and then add a kid or 2 along with a defensive veteran 3rd pair guy.
Just admit it was a stupid, poorly thought out proposal and quit trying to justify it.

as i said i say karlsson is coming foote is ready imho gaunce is having incredible year surprising year in syracuse not sure he is righty or lefty but if we get karlsson if we can resign stralman with cernak right side is friggin awesome....

left side is set hedman logs or could big minutes a lot bigger minutes then he does mcd does the shut down role and for me cernak is flying up the charts as a shut down defense whom is 20 and will shock with his offensive ability in a short time.... he gets the game cernak lets him move up now and try to make plays as his confidence goes up so will his numbers:) stralman is still super serviceable imho as a rh d for what he does .... left side a concern is sergachev plays at times like the young left hand defender he is... but where do we come up with all the money on keith im not a guy saying keith is trash hes not he is not taking pk minutes from hedman would we give him pk minutes second unit over sergachev thats a yes imho but that is NOT going to be what is best for that young player that is what he excels at for him so far... So yes I see very little or no interest on tampa's part but you got a stud whom if any teams have brains and needs a number one lefty which is a ton of teams imho could use him moving keith is very easy..> If he was a righty with his resume? he would be a lot more interesting. We are pretty well off though in tampa we think stephens who has been injured for awhile in ahl will also prove to be a valuable righty as soon as after next year if we even play remember we probably are going to get a lock out in september.... So that goes along in thoughts too..

Not a hawk fan but what they're going to do is not make bad trades like this one

why is tampa taking on salary with their cap situation and the need to sign the guy with 30+g/65+pts already?

Keith is the best player in the trade, and retain money?

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Lol no. Tampa doesn't need him anyways. The only thing this makes sense on is to see Hedman and Keith shut down teams in the playoffs like gods but that Keith was around in 2015 and now he would do nothing but anchor Hedman.

Tampa needs cap space more then wishful thinking

Somebody who isn’t declining and who won’t wreck our cap situation. And especially someone who doesn’t match both of the above while requiring protection in the expansion draft.

Let me spell it out for you: YOUR. PROPOSAL. IS. GARBAGE. Stop trying to jam it down our throats and go away.
The only problem with this proposal is the Cap Situation for TB... everything else you said isn't doing you favors. Maybe adding a player like Keith would finally add to TB the needed piece to win a SC final (last was with different team)

It does nothing because of the money, that's all.

So we can only afford two league minimum defenders right? Then how the f*** do you expect us to afford Keith and his terrible contract? Try using your head for once in your life.
