Jesus today's going to be the wildest draft day the NHL has had in a long ass time
It will have talent , just no generational talent and a good chance the best player(s) from the draft will be selected all over in later picksThe trades are more entertaining than the actual draft will be. This is a draft without any elite talent.

It should but hopefully people realize it was a horrible trade and is not a true reflection of market value. With Risto returning the 13th pick+2nd rounder Jones should return twice that package
Probably not but one or two could come out of it and surprise if they are late bloomers but no one that has really destroyed competition over the last couple of years so it doesn’t look like it will happen for nowThat's what I mean.
There's no franchise altering talent.
Maybe not one that's obvious to us now. I wager at least a few players from this draft will turn out to be elite at the next level. That's what I mean.

Ok. You are right. I also don't see anyone with that kind of potential. There's no McDavid, Matthews, Or Crosby type talent is what I mean.

Wonder if 12th OA and Boqvist gets it done?

Chicago also doesn't own the 1st or 2nd overall. When do scouts ever forecast anybody to be franchise altering outside of the top 2 pics? Your point is moot. If anything this is the year you're more likely to find all star caliber players outside of the top 5
I hope so. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat.Boqvist + 2021 1st + cap like DeHaan/Connolly seems fair for an extended Jones
What's your point?
My point is why are we discussing whether Chicago's 1st this year has a chance at being a generational talent
Of course there is. Whomever Toronto picks in the 2nd round. That's what I mean.
