Zero chance Buffalo gets 4th overall for Byram

More likely Rinzel+ as the main piece.

Edit: turns out Chicago's GM is fully braindead
shocking. I was thinking Nazr 1 for 1.

Byram had a great playoff but he's not ever healthy. IF Byram plays like he did in the postseason, its a good deal, but so far hes proven to be an inconsistent player. still young though

This must be a garbage draft to move 4th overall for Byram.

Unless Blackhawks feel pressure from Bedard camp to become playoff team .

None of this is accurate. The Leafs literally just signed Raddysh for 8 years. The option also goes away for everyone in September.
Some of that was wrong, sorry, but the Leafs did not sign Raddysh to an 8 year extension. The Lightning did, with the agreement that they would trade him to the Leafs.

Does anyone else feel like Chicago is forcing their rebuild? I think they should have build through the draft.
Shades of oilers rushing for playoffs the moment they drafted Mcdavid (I’m an oilers fan) oilers didn’t even wait 15 draft picks to start rushing it in 2015.

You look at the sharks rebuild and the hawks look so mid

No, Tampa technically just signed Raddysh for 8 years and then traded him to Toronto.

Buffalo/Chicago could do the same but not until July 1, so after the draft.

If you're drafting D, outside of a few exceptions, you're drafting them for what they'll be at 24-25 years old.
Connor Bedard will not wait 6 years for Carson Carels to be the player they need.

If you draft forwards early in the rebuild, you end up having to make moves like this, or end up in a Toronto situation.
