So, who's the alternate captain now? Jordan, Hainsey and who else?

I took for granted how well the Canes actually broke out of their own zone and were able to cycle.

It doesn't get any better when voters actually fill out the form. Did you know your vote counts the same as the voter who put "Human" under "Race" and "Jedi" under political party? If that doesn't crush your soul a little bit...you've probably worked at a board of election and seen it so many times that you've become numb.

Not sure why that should bother you.

Actually, I think both of those answers are perfectly acceptable. Preferable, even.

This.

On every form that has "required" my religion I've put "Jediism", "Norse Paganism", "Poseidonism", or "Polytheistic Atheism". With political party I usually put "Whig", "Tory", or "Alliance to Restore the Republic".

If the information is irrelevant to what the form is for, why shouldn't you have a good time while filling it out?

Hand grenade Hainsey flings a blind pass right to the Devils forward

True, but just about everyone has turned it over tonight and the passing, flow and everything is pretty gawd awful. Not surprising though with the roster turnover. Guys aren't in spots that people expect them to be, you can see that.

Whig, eh? Are you an 1848 Whig, per chance?

http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/?pid=25855

"3. Resolved, That General Taylor, in saying that, had he voted in 1844, he would have voted the Whig ticket, gives us the assurance—and no better is needed from a consistent and truth-speaking man—that his heart was with us at the crisis of our political destiny, when Henry Clay was our candidate and when not only Whig principles were well defined and clearly asserted, but Whig measures depended on success. The heart that was with us then is with us now, and we have a soldier's word of honor, and a life of public and private virtue, as the security."

Our American President in 1848? Yeah, that guy DIDN'T EVEN VOTE IN 1844.

American history is amazing. We think that **** is especially ****ed up right now. Nope, not really. We're just lucky that our only neighbors are Canadians and Mexicans.

Oldest player to make his NHL debut since the expansion era? Connie Madigan in 1973 at the age of 38!

Yeah that's not true. Aside from the many WHA guys that debuted when that league folded, I know Fetisov was 31 when he came over from the Soviet Union.

Edit: I think misread what you meant maybe.
