When the NHL gave the Devils their pick back, after the Kovalchuk scandal, it was the last pick of the 1st round, which was 30th back then. With our pick missing, there are currently only 30 picks in the 1st round. As of now, the Champion will pick 30th. IIRC, they were supposed to be 13th-14th overall that year. So if the league gives us our 1st back, it'll likely be the 31st pick.
