I would like to follow this team, but the sheer amount of shit talking that is going on right now toward Raleigh and anyone who supports NCFC is extremely off-putting, especially after Tepper was shit talking "that other city" during the announcement when they got the team.

Say what you want about Dundon, but Tepper really does seem like a genuine asshole.

The 'CLT' thing is amusing. None of the other teams here use 'CLT' they use 'CHA'.

You'd think Tepper would know better after A. Inviting the Canes and Dundon into his own suite for a Panthers game and B. Maybe not pissing off the residents in the 2nd largest city and metro in the Carolinas, but I guess when you're worth $12 billion, you don't really care.

Just wait until he demands the city build him two new stadiums, one for the Panthers and one for MLS, oh and not on his dime but taxpayers dime instead. You guys in Raleigh won't be affected by this, but I will.

That's just terrible font and design...is it CLT/CTL or GLT/GTL? Is there a secret H hidden in the middle? Nobody will ever ****ing know...at least use different colors for some letters to distinguish them?

I wasn’t aware of this, but it definitely does downgrade my attitude toward this announcement from “apathetic” to “frosty”.

As a native of the city, I’m more than happy to vaguely support Charlotte in a sport and league I have no real feelings for. But not if it’s going to be framed as some sort of “we dunked on Raleigh” thing. They can go **** themselves if that’s what’s coming from the top down.
