Sens typically struggle vs Florida but if they struggle vs this iteration... Interestingly, if the Sens win, there's a decent chance they pass Florida before the season ends. Sens would be 4 points back with the same amount of games played, they don't have the tiebreaker but their schedule is very easy and Florida's is tough and they're also running out an AHL team. WC1 would get you Toronto, A3 Tampa. I don't really have a preference (I think if Florida is healthy they beat both, if no Chucky and sub 100% Barkov, not great odds) but it's something to think about.
Clinching scenarios
The Panthers will qualify for the playoffs for a previously thought unfathomable 6th straight season (yes 2020 counted as playoffs per the NHL) if any of the following situations occur:
Any type of Florida win
A Panthers OT/SO loss and any type of Rangers loss vs NJD
A Panthers regulation loss and a Rangers regulation loss vs NJD, any type of Blue Jackets loss vs Toronto
