Downvote me but all McDavid did was dug team Canada out of a hole that he dug them into.

I know it’s best on best and there is little space out there, but if McDavid plays like his normal self there wouldn’t be a need for late game heroics.

He still did it, but you have to imagine if he wasn’t a ghost all game except for the goldless medal play it wouldn’t come down to it.

Maybe the ice was bad or something, but uncharacteristically McDavid’s stick was a graveyard for plays to die on.
