It depends what your definition of "better" is. Bayern has all the possession, wasted their chances. Juve has only had a few chances, but they are slicing through the Bayern defense when they win the ball back.

Possession is useless if it isn't positive possesion. Bayern was always going to dominate possesion. Juve's defence is probably the best in the world so that is their strength. If they have kept Bayern out of danger areas, while countering with a purpose, then I think Juve would be considered the better side in this game.

Just saw Morata's non-goal. That was never offside. It appears Juve have been better but the game has 2 halves and if they don't try for that 3rd goal, it will get very scary. Thankfully the Bayern defence is awful.

Bayern's problem is that they play a high-risk game and you need to be perfect on the ball to avoid trouble if you play like that. Perfection on the ball is assumed with Guardiola teams, both Juve goals were preceded by poor play on the ball by Alaba.

The lack of margin of error has always been my main complaint with Guardiola's approach.

Scoring 1 goal is hard enough against an Italian side, let alone Juventus. It's not going to be easy at all.

Juventus is destroying Bayern tactically, I doubt Bayern will get 2 shots on goal let alone 2 goals in the next half.

99% chance Juventus will win after the next 45 minutes.

I would say 50%. 2 goals is not a lot when you have the talent that Bayern have. As good as Juve is on defence, they are still human. My nails will be considerably shorter by the time this game ends.

Morata plays better desperate. He has to play desperate or else she might leave him forever this time around. Must win her over once and for all.

Missing Chiellini and Marchisio, as well as the work rate of Mandzukic tonight though. Their absence is a big reason why they're being so proactive as a team, I reckon. If they let Bayern play as they will, their vulnerabilities will become exposed.

Useless sub by Guardiola

How can Lieschteiner get the same card as Vidal on that play? Vidal makes a dangerous play, goes and hits Cuardado after the play and all Stefan did was push Vidal away from Cuadrado...

These first five minutes show why Bayern won't win this game. No way they keep their cool when these guys are falling around and time wasting for so long.

Chiellini is missed but Barzagli and Bonucci have been just as good if not better. The only way it really hurts them is that they can't play thier 3-5-2. They definitely miss Marchisio but with the lead, I don't think it's as big of a problem.
