It will never happen, but if Brugge were to eliminate City at their place, damn

If Brugge lose, and PSG/Stuttgart (play eachother), Benfica and Sporting avoid defeat, Brugge are out. It's a cruel world

Lautaro's winning goal for Inter was quite like an ice hockey goal often scored by players like Draisaitl. Shot from an almost impossible angle and going in through an almost non-existent hole via the bar.

Celtic should have by a lot more against Young Boys (missed a PK for example), but they held on for a 1-0 win despite having a player sent off late. But Young Boys keeper Clayton Keller made several good saves.

Bernardo just said PSG was vastly superior in the last 35 minutes in every area of the pitch.
I mean... They were. City seems to crumble this season when the momentum in games changes. The high press is half-hearted, they give up the ball and when they concede the next big chance seems to be a matter of time.

PSG played a good game, dug themselves out of a hole and I can't imagine any of the teams placed 9-16 will want to see them in the first playoff round.

well it’s Arsenal to be fair

Unless Liverpool puts a ton past PSV. I think Brugge will ultimately be safe (and hopefully they beat City and this is all moot), but yeah, that would suck. In a perfect world, Brugge beats City, Stuttgart beats PSG and Dinamo beats Milan and both City and PSG are eliminated.

Liverpool is going to finish first and end up playing one of the big boys of Europe.
Well the good news is one of the big boys is going to get eliminated by one of the big boys during LFC’s bye week. Which is nice. I mean it’s no different than getting a tough knockout round draw, but on the other hand you have to wonder if in the future there will be less of an incentive to finish first.

That being said, still feels like the standings could move around a bunch after the last Matchweek - think I saw our most likely opponent is PSG though. Which would be silly but not going to get worried about who we might play. Just need to try and keep momentum up

That is true, still time for some movement in the table.
