lol Leverkusen. Xabi got what he deserved for that formation, shocking that as soon as they switched back to their typical shape they went on the PP. Sure he was a couple of inches from the match going very differently, but they needed to capitalize a lot more in that first half.

I guess I should care about the coefficient, but it would be too funny if Bayern f***ed up today too

I thought Mpabbe was doing well tho?
He is getting chances. He does have some good runs even if he does not provide enough. You can see the flashes.

I think he is a work in progress and I am not panicking about him. I am not as negative about him as others. I think he is not the biggest issue we have (defense is).

However, the results of the team are concerning and the squad is not well built.

Then and there
Mings being stupid, picks up the ball inside the box after Martinez had already given the goal kick.
Vanaken scores from the spot.

Villa must start to play more expansive game now.

Definitely punched, but was the follow-through after getting the ball. Not sure what the rule says, but Sommers wasn't intentionally punching Merino.

Set pieces looking good and dangerous for the Arsenal.
I actually don't think Sommer got the ball, but I think that was the call, as it was given as a corner. I think the "right" decision would have been a goal kick but a foul.

Ah, I got a better replay. You're right.

To say nothing of the fact this guy shouldve got a card for throwing a fit over that last corner and kicking the ball into nowhere

Effin ridiculous. Lautaro simulates a yellow card action by looking straight at the ref and Calhanoglu kicks the ball after the whistle going unpunished. Martinez should be off with two yellows from that free kick that resulted in the handball play and Calhanoglu should have been given a yellow.

I guess when it rains, it pours.
