Emi with a heroic effort to secure the win for Villa.

Bahahahahah oh Bayern, thank you for letting your FC Hollywood take over.

I was so scared of what Nagelsmann + Eberl would do, but you stopped that from happening through your own pettiness

Anybody watching the Lille/Real game who can tell me if the score is indicative of the game? Losing at Lille seems like something we should not do...

EDIT: 5 yellows, wtf
First half was both teams having a big chance, arguably even bigger for Lille.
And then a penalty off a handball. David scores.
Second half was Lille defending well and still having some nice situations but Real had two huge chances at the end but Chevalier is a top class goalie.

Crazy day of results. Zagreb over Monaco, Villa over Bayern, Benfica smoking Atletico, Lille over Madrid, Feyenoord over Girona
Monaco is currently tied in Zagreb.

Player of the game is probably Chevalier but a good second is Bouaddi, 17 today. Only his turnover late in the game was a negative.

Meanwhile Mbappe still looks awful.
If Vini wins the BDO, he's the worst winner of all-time.
Jude is useless most games too.
Endrick was pretty decent.

I think they now have it bound to the club season, so today would have no impact on the upcoming Ballon d'Or.

The only acceptable candidate is Palmer anyway.

I know but I thought the same before.

Keep reading, you'll get there!
I'd say since you posted before the game was over, I responded to your post and it was still not over.
Maybe don't next time?

Am I allowed to say Bologna was unlucky with those two posts or the fact they're way richer than Salernitana makes it horrible?

We're only into October and the core Real Madrid players already look gassed, which is highly concerning considering we're not getting any reinforcements. The squad is simply too thin. There isn't a quality midfield option off the bench that I'm seeing, tall task ahead. Rudiger, Fede and Carvajal have basically absorbed every minute in the last 12+ months, something has to give.

People clowned on him, but we badly badly miss Joselu's profile. So far our player profiles just don't seem to mesh.

Then and there
With strong rain and lot of water on the pitch throughout the match in Zagreb, players couldn't pass the ball or run with for any length really.

They couldn't hold on until the end, but I was impressed by Dinamo nevertheless. Especially Baturina was good as long as he was on the pitch, goal and assist for him.

That Diaz penalty is one of the worst I have ever seen called a penalty. Yes, the ball hits his forearm but it's in a position where the ball would have still hit his body. Calling that a handball is absolutely shambolic. Again, one of the top 3 worst called I have ever seen.

Bayern's pressing was still impressive on the opponent's half, especially in the second hald Villa barely had control of the ball at all. Neuer positioned badly on that counter attack from which Duran scored. He is really a great sub to have.

Kane didn't have enough presence in the box /CF position. Emi Martinez indeed had great saves in the end to secure the victory.

Bayern shouldn't worry too much though, they'll win a large majority of matches with performances like that.
