Yeah, Arsenal lost some steam when they went ahead, but still a fairly convincing performance against a talented team. PSG are frauds though, nothing today showed me they are superior to the top contenders, plus they have an immensely difficult CL stage. I do think they make it, but get upset in the second phase before the round of 16.
 
Haha, sure it's luck that PSG hit the bar on a corner off a nice play but it's not luck that Saka throws a bad FK that nobody touches and it goes in the net.
It's probably also not luck that a clear handball in the box wasn't called a penalty.

Typical.

Adeyemi really used his pace to abuse Celtic defence, that 2nd goal was also a pretty powerful and good shot, although Schmeichel seemed to anticipate a bit too much and there leaving the near post exposed.

Hopefully Adeyemi wasn't seriously injured.

Must be frustrating to play for Celtic, easily winning and ofter trashing opponent in the Scottish league, only to suffer the same fate themselves in Europe.

That was the story for them the whole 2nd half.

Even if they most likely lose to Real Madrid, rest of the remaining 5 matches are far easier, and 4 or maybe even 3 wins out of those should be enough to progress to knockouts.

Somewhere in France, a straw man trembles. Yes, Arsenal got lucky on the Saka goal, which is why Arsenal’s xG isn’t high either. It wasn’t a bad FK though. Just lucky it got through although the only people who came close to touching it were Arsenal players.

What's unlucky is the rest of the Ligue 1 having to compete against a club that's backed by Gulf money.

Consistently complaining about PSG's 'luck' in Europe when they have infinity funds is farcical.

I haven’t had a chance to watch the match yet and I won’t pretend to watch the Swiss Super League, but I think they are second from bottom there. I say this because I was surprised that Flick rang the changes away to Osasuna but not against Young Boys, though I can understand wanting three points in the CL after the loss to Monaco.

It could be as little as a minor tightness but we were up 2-0 and he’s played a lot of minutes. Speaking it into existence.

Just because shots hit the post, doesn't mean they were "great scoring chances." Yesterday two of them, were on the outside post/crossbar and even though they were close, neither of them were beating Raya in the form he is currently in if they hit the net. The one PSG should have scored on was the Mendes strike, which was actually a very good hit of the ball. The problem with your thinking is that PSG should have had the game tied, but you're forgetting that Martinelli went Pejorative Slured on his chance and should've given Arsenal three goals yesterday. You also cannot argue against the xG as well, PSG was clearly the second-best club in that game and Arsenal deservedly won. If you can't see that, then I can't help you blud.

And the xG would have been in PSG's advantage if the right call had been made on the handball. There goes your whole theory.
I have no problem saying Arsenal deserved the win. They controlled the first half, sit back the second. Still the difference was Donna not doing his job and PSG being unlucky with posts and handball.

I'm not trolling you, I'm saying crying about the luck of clubs like PSG (or City or Real or or or) is ridiculous. They have enough resources to put themselves in a position to beat anyone on any day. The rest is just hogwash.

Hence the point of the rest of Ligue 1, who luck or no luck, will never be able to rival them for any sustained period of time because they don't have PSG's (unfair) advantage over them.

Nah you're clearly responding to a post with a graph and whataboutit with their ressources in the french league.
Big deal. Football isn't only about money. You'll always have teams richer than others. Chelsea should win the CL every year with your "logic".
PSG has played 3 CL semi finals in the last 5 years. Won 1, lost 1 and was bitten by an all-time number of goalposts last year.
But of course some troll on hfboards says you can't say they didn't have luck against BVB because they have more money.

You constantly crying about luck is negated by the club's finances, yes. Just because PSG fails all the time doesn't mean they're unlucky, they're still luckier than everyone else. And somehow I doubt you'd have much indulgence for other clubs (richer or poorer) who get 'unlucky' against French clubs. You'd just write a novella about refs or how the french club got done even harder in 1978 or something.

No it isn't. PSG has had bad luck in the CL this year. As proven by the incredible stat I provided. Their bank account has nothing to do with it except in some twisted troll minds.

You say French clubs have bad luck or get screwed by the refs every single year so forgive me for not taking you seriously because at that point the Evilo who cried wolf has shed every tear his eyes could.
