Champions League Knockout Stage

I'm nervous about the Inter matchup, they have in spades the only thing we lack, experience.

I don't know, because objectively Barca on the wings is embarrassing for how much they hurt you. Where Inter can hurt them is if they make mistakes in defense, because Thuram and Lautaro with Chala with so much space to explore are very dangerous.

So three of the four semifinalists also finished top four in the group stage. Liverpool were unlucky to draw PSG but beside that you can’t argue the group stage didn’t matter.

Arguably, Liverpool wasn't unlucky. The only reason they ended up with PSG is because they didn't take their matchup with PSV seriously, lost it, and that led to PSG being in the spot in the table they were.

3 of the top 4 are in the semis. Only PSG isn't.

At that point it wasn’t clear PSG would end up in that spot though. But my point being that obviously the teams who did well in the group stage turned out to be the strongest overall. So there’s no coincidence. Teams like Real, Bayern, City etc ended up lower in the table cause they were simply not better than that, which later showed in the knockout phase.

The point is that they were the architect of their own defeat because they took a match off

I love all my RM brethren on this board, so I will say GG. However, there was nothing more satsifying than seeing Martinmessi's goal go in.

And yes we all knew RM coming in had poor form their entire season. PSG will be a much more formidable opponent.
We got SEPH in the VAR van today calling the shots ;)
I had to watch the match on tape delay, but I was very happy that CL has at least one competent ref who is not paid by the mafia and CIA and FA.

So turned this in because I wanted to check Madrid out -

Does Arsenal have any of their own songs?

Allez Allez Allez is literally a chant about winning the European cup that Arsenal have had to change the words for

The second song in the video was pinching the Luis Diaz song that’s like less than a year old.

Turned it off after that

I dont know which thread to put this so I've picked here.

So with the expanded Champ/Europ leagues have things worked out for the best in readers opinions?
Do little clubs have any chance against the titans?
It seems through exhaustion and injury is one way they plan to really pressure the titans to spend more money because the more you win the more you play and it just can't sustain itself.
Small clubs big worries are having their squad talent fished out by the titans.

Like people say, they just expanded a fifth place (guaranteed without a playoff?) and soon they will expand more games. In a couple years I wouldn't be surprised if they have it to 14 games midweek, every midweek. Those viewing numbers are WILD for champions league.
