Sorry, only fans of teams still in the Champions League can talk.

But speak about insecure.
Shit happens. At least we've got six other ones. Happy to give PSG their deserved props and be on my way.

And I’ll update Saka’s Wikipedia honors to reflect his great accomplishment vs Nuno Mendes. At least it’s better than the Community Shields

Have fun kids

How many of those are relevant and not part of the 1970s teams, where most of the players are in hoverounds nowadays? Please, come back to talk when you bring a legit trophy in a year past when most of us were born. It's like people talking about WWI being still applicable...when horse travel was still the main form of transport and King George was alive...who felt the effects of the Napoleonic Wars.

Would be pretty funny if PSG wins the whole thing after thinking they needed to load up with the big three and now none of them are there
Enrique (and I for that matter) have said multiple times PSG would be better without the divas.
This is the youngest team in the CL. And their only player in the 30s was subbed before ET.

Liverpool getting kicked out and all their fans can think about is Arsenal. Mighty.
Speak for yourself. I’m thinking about these steaks Mrs. Savant made for dinner

I guess they've only won one since you started posting on HFBoards, but one is still more than zero

Anyway, good game by both sides. Liverpool gave their all, and was very strong the first 15 minutes of the first half (tough miss by Salah). PSG controlled the rest of the first half (double the xG at halftime).
The goal was nicely built but I had doubts about Barcola being offside. The unlucky offside from the first leg turned into a lucky onside here.
Second half was all Pool and the post was extremely unlucky for them. Clearly was no offside and VAR would have given the goal had it gone in.
The ET was all PSG with Beraldo inches wide and Doue twice and Dembele saved by Alisson again.
Penatly shootout was obvious, since Pool really didn't have good kickers compared to PSG.

Donnarumma came up clutch and probably shut some mouths (including here). He can be furstrating but he didn't have a save to make last time. He was hot today.
Mendes was strong, but frankly the whole D except Hakimi who was really bad.

Doue was spectacular coming in. Boy do I love this guy.

Ref was good but clearly missed a foul in favor of Liverpool (which would have been FK, not PK).
Mind you if the first leg ref hadn't shat the bed, Pool would have been eliminated in 180 minutes, especially without Konate playing both games or close.

To me it was the best two teams in Europe right now facing each other. The lack of experience of PSG didn't matter in the end and they showed poise and guts. Congrats to both teams.

PSG deservedly through.

Oh and also lol to some posters saying Luis Enrique sucked (yes, yes you did). What he's building with a team of guys aged 18-24 is worthy of every dream of FM managers around the world.

Yeah better side went through. Had chances to get one and then who knows. Liverpool running out of steam a bit. That stretch of 5-6 matches in a short window and then playing this PSG side who is brilliant and young showed a lot of tired legs. Liverpool has prioritized the league to a fault this season, but some of their players are starting to break down a touch.

I can’t fault going out to the better side without any real qualms about it. Shootout always stupid luck either way. If I was a neutral I would have likely enjoyed it. As a LFC fan it was tough when they’ve been brilliant most of the season and couldn’t find an answer. Crazy how much getting players who are gifted but give a shit do for PSG.

As for any Arsenal comments, I am only responding to one who’s actually in here gloating like they’ve done anything. I would hesitate to see what this PSG side would do to them over 2 legs. Maybe we will see it. I guess they can focus on it since they couldn’t see the top spot in the league without a telescope.

Jeremy Menez was in the stands. A stewart came to see him at the 70th minute to ask if he was french. He answered yes and was booted from the stadium.

Slot also made the mistake of not rotating at the weekend, which Luis Enrique always does in the league, you could see it in overtime + with the injuries.

Oh and I must say. Couple of those PSG players look like the best in the world at their position right now. They’ll do well to keep them over the next season or two but man. Ridiculous
I've said for a while I wouldn't take any LB over Mendes.
Vitinha is very much among the top midfielders.
Joao Neves is also already there.
Hakimi is probably the best RB too, but he's frustrating from time to time, especially defensively.

Ruiz was bad this game AGAIN. Him and Hakimi were the two bad spots tonight.
Barcola was so so as well. Kvara had his moments.

Dembele is on a mission. He's very much in the running for Ballon d'Or. Nobody has scored more than him in 2025 and he's still hunting that CL.

Would be awesome for PSG to eliminate Real and Mbappe in the semis.

Now Lille has a very fair chance to go through tomorrow.

Mendes, Joao Neves and Dembele in particular are all playing at an incredible level

XG tonight also wasn’t crazy crazy off. Mistake for the goal, but through 90 at home was closer. Few attacks broke down.

I really would have liked to see Gakpo fit for the tie, I think if he was Slot likely plays Diaz in the middle. Jota really doesn’t have the pace for this. Add in Salah being slower anyhow and it was exaggerated. I might have shown a gamble and had Jones in earlier or even done the 4 midfield to try and overload guys who were doing the running for two in there.

As is said above, I would have rested players at the weekend or even a match before but I don’t think Slot wants to do that. I think Bradley would have been useful in this as he’s got a lot of stamina. Lot of matches on the legs of Liverpools midfield.

As for next season, as we are getting to that point, Liverpool needs another dynamic midfielder along with an attacker up front with pace. I’d buy a striker, clear out Nunez, Jota. Let Trent go. Buy a replacement LB as Robertson can’t hold up over 90. If Salah wants to stay, stay, but if he wants to go, I’d get Isak and a dynamic winger.
